The ACL employed various methods to document all grave markers and the ensuing treatments, including condition assessments, condition photographs, and treatment summaries. All 152 stones on the site were recorded in order to manage and locate all stones during the conservation process and to provide record for future research and conservation treatments. During the current phase of work each stone was removed from its location to allow for complete conservation in a more controlled setting. The location of each stone was carefully plotted to ensure that the stone could be replaced in its original position.
