ACL Project List

Pipe Spring National Monument, like many sites, has selective documentation relating to the history of its structures.  While there is a wealth of resources related to more recent restoration campaigns, there are gaps in the site’s documented history throughout the twentieth century, which have resulted in a misunderstanding of the historic fabric in the buildings.

In order to combine all known documentation related to the physical fabric of the site, the ACL conducted an extensive survey of each of the park’s features (Winsor Castle, East Cabin, West Cabin and the Ponds).  This work was then used to create the base for a Historic Structures Report, which will provide a comprehensive history of the individual structures and the significant materials in them.
